Yes. Sometimes separating pups can be unpleasant, which is why we allow siblings to stay together. In other cases, we don’t accept more than one dog per room, as it can cause stress in a new environment. However, we charge per furry baby, since we charge for taking care of each furry baby, not according to the space.

At Sam’s Lodge, dog boarding costs $70 to $115 a night, before tax: $70 in a Condominium (small dogs like pugs and chihuahuas), $90 in a Suite, $110 in a Deluxe Suite and $115 in a Private Care Suite.

Daycare at DV Playcare and park access are included in Condominiums, Suites and Deluxe Suites. A $20 per night fee applies in peak seasons and some holidays, and stays of 6 nights or more, or with 2 dogs or more, get 5% to 11% off.

From December 20 to January 15, our winter peak season, a $20 per night fee applies: $90 a night in a Condominium, $110 in a Suite, $130 in a Deluxe Suite and $135 in a Private Care Suite, before tax. Staff are on site 24/7, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day included.

Rooms for Christmas and New Year’s book up first: reserve early, and book your dog’s evaluation first if it is their first stay.

No more sad dogs locked in a cage for long hours. Our daily rates include:

• First call in the morning at 6:00 AM, when they go out for their potty break in our outdoor or indoor park, depending on the weather.
• After that, they are served breakfast in their rooms, and we give them 1.5 hours of relaxation time to digest their food.
• When digestion time is over, all the furry babies take part in the daycare activities. Depending on the day, we have different activities for them.
• During playtime in DV Playcare, the furry babies are given breaks in between, depending on the needs of your furry baby.
• During break time, the babies go to their Suites or Condominiums (depending on the type of room you chose for them), where they take a nap or enjoy the delicious à la carte perks from our menu, which parents can choose when they make the reservation.
• After the break, the furry babies are brought back to our parks to play with their furry friends.
• Lunch is served if your furry baby eats lunch. If not, they are brought back to their rooms for dinner.
• After dinner, they are given time to digest.
• Last call, their final potty break of the day, is around 9:00 PM.
• After last call, they go to bed.

Having your baby in our care is the highest form of trust. That’s why we encourage visits to our facility. To see the facility, you are required to book a facility tour. Tours run from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Someone from our Paw Crew will be delighted to take you on a tour and show you the different options for your furry kid’s stay.

Yes. Early check-in is $50 plus tax per dog: from 7:00 AM Monday to Friday, or from 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Please call us the day before, so we can prepare your dog’s feeding instructions and the documents needed for the early check-in.

Regular check-out is by 12:00 PM, with a grace period until 12:15 PM. After that, late check-out ($50 plus tax per dog) is charged automatically: until 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, or 3:00 PM on weekends, with a 15-minute grace period. After that, super late check-out ($65 plus tax per dog, replacing the late check-out fee) is charged automatically: until 7:00 PM Monday to Friday, or 4:00 PM on weekends. Dogs not picked up by then stay an extra night, charged automatically.

You can book late or super late check-out online, or call us any time during the stay, even on the day of check-out.

Sure! We offer discounted rates for a single doggie on stays of 6 to 10 nights and 11 to 30 nights. We also offer discounted rates for two or more pooches on stays of 1 to 5 nights, 6 to 10 nights and 11 to 30 nights. Please refer to our price list.

If your pet should require medical attention while in our care, our customary procedure is to contact your veterinarian. Should the nature of your pet’s illness require an office visit, we reserve the right to utilize our 24-hour on-call veterinarian, depending on the severity and the travel required to access your veterinarian.

Last-minute cancellation (less than 2 business days prior to service): $60 cancellation fee per dog.

We only charge an extra $20 a day during high season, which covers the following dates:

Check-in: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Check-out: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

If your dog isn’t picked up by 7:00 PM on weekdays or 4:00 PM on weekends, an extra night of boarding is charged automatically.

At Doggieville MTL, we accept furry babies that are not spayed or neutered until 11 months of age. After 11 months, all furry babies are required to be spayed or neutered. Unfortunately, we can’t accept any fur guest older than 11 months that hasn’t been spayed or neutered, as it could interfere with the behaviour and comfort of the other pups around. For these reasons, we ask that all fur guests staying at Sam’s Lodge be spayed or neutered.

If your furry baby is not spayed or neutered for medical or any other reasons, you can give us a call. We are always happy to make an exception to accommodate our furry parents’ and furry babies’ needs.

For all boarding stays, we ask that all doggie parents provide the following:

• Full vaccine record for your pup: Bordetella (valid for 6 months), DA2PP (distemper, adenovirus-2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and rabies.
• Pre-portioned food in Ziplock bags, plus 2 extra portions in case your stay is extended.
• Any medication or supplements your furry baby requires (a medication fee will apply). Pill pockets are also required to give the furry babies their medication.
• You can always bring 1 toy that your furry baby likes.
• A collar with their name for identification.
• Please allow at least 35 minutes to create your doggie profile. We recommend calling or reserving online at least a few days in advance so all the information is up to date. A scheduled pick-up time should also be discussed upon drop-off.

For reservations, you should contact us directly as all reservations need to be confirmed by phone, online, or in person. Our Paw Crew consultants will be happy to discuss all the boarding, grooming, daycare, and à la carte perk options DOGGIEVILLE Mtl has to offer! To confirm a reservation, a 100% deposit is required, and the cost of the stay must be paid in full at the time of making the reservation. Keep in mind that all high-season reservations should be made well in advance and incur an additional daily fee.

Sam’s Lodge welcomes visiting dogs 7 days a week, about 20 minutes from Montréal-Trudeau Airport and 10 minutes from downtown hotels, with free parking. Yes. Sam’s Lodge has private cat suites at $55 a night, with toys and a litter box provided; please bring your cat’s usual litter. A cat who wants to stay with their dog sibling can share a Private Care Suite with them. We also groom cats. Call (514) 938-8899 to book.

To ensure 100% safety, we ask that you bring your baby in before their stay for a behaviour evaluation so that we can assess their overall behaviour. There are additional charges for evaluations. (If it is a last-minute emergency trip, we are always happy to make an exception to the meet and greet if your furry baby is dog- and human-friendly.) This helps us identify any temperament characteristics that could be unsuitable at Sam’s Lodge. Otherwise, if all goes well, your pup is welcome to stay at our resort!

No. Private Care Suites are open to every dog. They are a great fit for senior dogs, dogs that are healing from something, anxious dogs, special cases and dogs that prefer not to mix with others, and any guest can choose this room for the most personalized stay, with dedicated one-on-one care and a daily routine tailored to your dog’s needs.

Yes. Senior dogs and dogs that are recovering are welcome, and we recommend our Private Care Suites for them, with individualized care and monitoring in a quieter, more private environment. If your dog takes medication, please bring pill pockets (a medication fee will apply).
