How Much Do Dog Boarding and Daycare Cost in Montreal? 2026 Price Guide
Dog boarding and daycare prices are hard to compare: some places include playtime, others charge for it; some add holiday fees, others charge for every late pick-up. Here are all of our 2026 prices at Doggieville MTL, what each one includes, and what to check when you compare.

01Dog boarding prices at Sam’s Lodge
Every dog sleeps in a private, cage-free room. The price is per dog, per night, before tax:
- Condominium, for small dogs like pugs and chihuahuas: $70 a night
- Suite (65 sq ft), for dogs of any size: $90 a night
- Deluxe Suite (85 sq ft), almost twice the space of a Suite: $110 a night
- Private Care Suite (130 sq ft), one-on-one care and a custom routine: $115 a night
In a Condominium, Suite or Deluxe Suite, your dog spends the day playing at DV Playcare, our daycare, with unlimited park access. Deluxe Suites add bedtime treats every night and a free 30-minute massage for stays of 6 nights or more. The Private Care Suite is for dogs who do best with individual attention, such as senior, anxious or recovering dogs, and is open to any dog: it includes 2 free 30-minute massages for stays of 5 nights or more, and a free departure bath and ear cleaning for stays of 12 nights or more.
02Peak seasons, holidays and discounts
A $20 per night fee applies during:
- Winter holidays: December 20 to January 15
- March break: February 20 to March 15
- Summer: June 15 to September 15
- Good Friday to Easter Monday, Journée nationale des patriotes, and Thanksgiving weekend
Discounts: one dog gets 5% off for 6 to 10 nights and 8% off for 11 to 30 nights. Two dogs or more get 5% off for 1 to 5 nights, 8% off for 6 to 10 nights and 11% off for 11 to 30 nights.
- Behaviour evaluation, once, before the first stay: $80 per dog
- Early drop-off (7 to 8 am on weekdays, 9 to 10 am on weekends, call the day before): $50
- Late pick-up after 12:15 pm: $50 until 6 pm on weekdays (3 pm on weekends), then $65 until 7 pm (4 pm on weekends); after that, your dog stays one more night
- Departure bath: required for stays of 6 nights or more, with 10% off
03Dog daycare prices at DV Playcare
- Half day (up to 5 hours): $45
- Full day: $55
- Enrichment daycare, with puzzles, scent work and interactive feeding: $55 a half day, $65 a full day
- Prepaid packages of 10 and 20 days bring the price to between $47 and $60 a day, valid 3 months
- Second dog from the same family: 10% off single visits
- First day: a one-time $80 behaviour evaluation
- Early drop-off from 7 am, or late pick-up until 7 pm: $20 each
Daycare runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, in a heated 4,500 sq ft indoor park and a fenced 1,500 sq ft outdoor park, with dogs grouped by size, energy and temperament.
